There are 4 Rivets placed evenly in a square shape.
If you are wanting a dusky, jazzy ride with added sizzle, & a great bell, then this could be the one for you.
To give you a bit more background on the range, SR2 Series cymbals are refurbished by Sabian at their factory they take pre-played (artist demonstrated, clinic, etc) cymbals from their AA, HH, AAX, HHX, and Vault Series, re-finish them at the factory, and re-label them as SR Series. They're priced based on the size of the cymbal, allowing you to get high-class cymbals at budget prices. If you're looking for a great deal on "used" cymbals that play like new!
We feel this was either an HHX cymbal in a former life, or based on additional research, it is possible that it was a rare prototype sizzle ride which had the same rivet configuration.
Of course, Sabian could’ve added the rivets to throw us off the scent. Either way, it is a great cymbal, & a ridiculously good price.
