This pad converts an acoustic drum to an electronic drum, & is compatible with all major electronic drum modules.

• You remove the regular, acoustic drum head
• Set the hoop aside, & remove the original tension rods & put them somewhere safe (These will be too small to use with the Tru Trac pad)
• Remove the vent hole fitting from the drum. (Using a spanner or socket wrench)
• Replace the vent hole fitting with the supplied jack box/connector socket. Making sure the chrome box & socket is on the outside of the drum (This is great, as it means no drilling is required.)
• Once the jack box is attached, you then ready the Tru Trac pad & connect the jack box cable to it. (This cable should be on the inside of the shell)
• Once connected, you then sit the Tru Trac pad onto the drum.
• You place the hoop in position, as you would a normal head then use the supplied extended length tension rods to fix the pad into place.
• The pad then connects via a stereo 6.6mm to 6.5mm jack to jack cable, from the newly fitted socket, to your module.
• Et voila! You are ready to play!
