Yamaha DSU50

The DSU 50 is Yamaha’s uniquely designed drum microphone, built specifically to capture the natural sound of an acoustic drum kit. Mounted on the bass drum hoop and facing the player, it gives you a clear, wide stereo image of the whole kit with no complicated setup.

One DSU50 is enough to produce a clean, usable drum sound for rehearsals, live shows, recording, monitoring or streaming. If you want more detail—such as clearer cymbals or a wider room sound—adding a second DSU50 expands the stereo image without the hassle of using multiple individual microphones.
