The 9000X hi-hat rod installs in seconds, no more threading required. Both 15" & 21" rods are included with each stand. Vise clamp clutch with incremental adjustment system and locking screw ensures rock-solid grip on hi-hat rod and keeps top cymbal tension locked in place. Ultra-responsive Triple Eccentric Cam provides increased footboard sensitivity and angle adjustment capability to match other footboards in multi-pedal setups. DW's Negative Spring System eliminates the "hard stop" at the top of a hi-hat's vertical range allowing the top cymbal to "float" and continue resonating when fully open while the incremental cymbal seat angle adjustment for the bottom hat gives you even more sound control.
