Tama SLP LAL1455 Aluminium Snare Drum - 14x5.5”.
Tama strike again, with another one of their excellent Sound Lab Project series snare drums. This time it is the classic dry aluminium snare, which offers a great range of sounds, should you be looking for versatility from a single drum.
Ranging from delicate tones - should you wish for a more “wood-like” response - or the whip crack of a steel snare, & everywhere in between, this drum covers many many bases.
The drum features a seamless 1.2 mm Aluminum shell with a center bead. The 8-lug Steel Mighty Hoops make for a crisp sound with short sustain.
The vintage look and sound are reminiscent of the early years of popular aluminium snare drums.
